Crews break ground on highly-anticipated pedestrian bridge over Parker Road in Aurora

The bridge will span Parker Road near Interstate 225 and connect the RTD Nine Mile Station with homes and businesses on the north side of Parker Road. Right now, there are designated crossing areas, but people still jaywalk the major roadway, causing "severe" accidents.
