Dry start to week expected to give way to rain, mountain snow, cooler weather in Southern Nevada

Las Vegas highs are forecast at 78 degrees Monday and 79 degrees Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the weekly outlook from meteorologist Andy Gorelow, who said highs across the area will run several degrees above normal through midweek.
